Bonded Besties Female English Staffordshire Terrier and Male Rhodesian Ridgeback mix Lily, an 8 year-old English Staffy and Tazi, a 3 year-old Ridgeback mix may be the odd couple, but they are the perfect couple These two are so great together. They love to play tug-of-war and chase each other about the yard. They are happy to stay home together while you are at work, but are inside dogs who love to cuddle up on the lounge with you while you watch tv and they sleep inside . Both have great manners and are gentle with taking food . Tazi and Lily are very active and love a good run, particularly Taz. He is in his element when bounding around chasing his ball , with Lily chasing along behind. She loves to be involved and is usually happy to chase him about with her own ball clenched in her mouth (or she will steal his and run off with it). He brings the ball back and drops it for you without a fight. They generally play for about an hour each morning and this keeps them happy and content to stay at home for the rest of the day while you work. Tax needs a bit of a kind touch as he is a bit frightened of things and it may be that he had never been in a car before being dropped off at the vets, but he’s learning it’s not bad and is getting better at travelling . Both walk well on their halters and love walking . They are great with other dogs and people. They are untested with cats but with time and a slow introduction, they may be ok living with them . Tax is learning recall very quickly. Lilly has selective hearing and responses when you want but will always come when it’s time to go. They are home bodies and do not run away when a door is open or if you drop a lead. These guys only have each other, so a home together is a must. They rely on each other for comfort and cuddle up together all the time. They are happy and well behaved and have adjusted to their foster home very quickly. Location: Eight Mile Plains
