About Turbo

Turbo is an active, energetic young boy who is looking for a patient, understanding owner with the quality time needed to gently introduce him to the wider world. Because he likely missed out on early socialisation, everyday objects and loud noises can initially feel scary and overwhelming, meaning he will need plenty of time to settle into the house and bond with his new family before exploring new places. Turbo absolutely LOVES to use his nose and is easily distracted by fascinating scents, so utilizing a long lead rather than off-lead time outside the home is highly recommended so he can explore safely. He is an enrichment superstar who prefers searching for his food in a snuffle mat, egg carton, or KONG rather than eating from a bowl, and since he has not yet learned basic cues like "sit," his family will get to start his positive training right from the beginning. This affectionate pup must be allowed indoors as a true member of the family to enjoy gentle pats, and while he is best suited for a home with older children. He previously lived with other dogs and would likely love a calm doggie companion after a successful introduction at the time of adoption.
