Red is a sweet, sensitive older gentleman. He has likely missed out on some key socialisation and has spent a lot of his time tethered on a large property with multiple other dogs. He may prefer to be outside at first but would benefit from a home that can provide indoor/outdoor access. He loves people and enjoys being with you. New owners will need to work on 4 paws and basic manners, Red likes to try and jump in your lap, very gentle and really looks to his human for reassurance. He may find some objects scary, could be very mundane items such as the microwave beeping, fans, or the vacuum cleaner. New owners will need to take things slow and not overwhelm him with new experiences. Red would benefit from a home that can provide structure and routine. Red really enjoys his food. We recommend feeding from enrichment to provide mental stimulation. Open to the right family, can be worried but is very sweet. New owners will need to understand basic dog body language. Must meet other dogs at time of adoption. Will need a calm and patient doggy friend.
