Hi everyone! My name is Stanley and I’m a big sooky boy looking for my forever family! I am a sweet and affectionate pup who loves all the usual things – playing with my sister, chomping on a toy and showering my foster parents in kisses! I’m sure you already noticed but I have mastered the art of “puppy dog eyes” and am willing to use it to get alllll the treats and pats! I love a good cuddle with my humans, but am also content to keep myself entertained with a toy. True to my breed I am a very clever boy, I aced basic obedience with no trouble at all. I can sit, stay, lay down and shake hands, plus I know how to wait patiently for my bowl to be put down at meal time, and take food gently from your hand. However I do still have lots to learn and being a young pup I am still learning to be gentle with my teeth and claws, so I will need continued training to help me grow into the best pup I can be. I would love another doggy friend to play with and show me the ropes, however I could do well as an only-pup as long as I’m not left alone all day. Being a working breed I will need a home with a large yard and an active family. My future family will need to make sure that I get not only plenty of exercise, but also enough mental stimulation to keep me happy and content.
