Hi there, my name is Maria and I am a fun and cheeky girl looking for my perfect home! I am a happy and sweet girl who spends her days living the awesome life of a pup – playing with toys, exploring the yard, wrestling with my brother and curling up with my humans when it’s chill time. I loooove to give my foster parents smooches and cuddles, but I prefer cuddles to be on the ground as I’m a bit scared of the height when picked up. I am a very energetic girl but I’m also pretty independent so as long as I have space to run, toys to play with and some human company, I’m pretty happy to keep myself entertained. As you would expect from my breed I am extremely intelligent and had basic training down pat within the first week. I can sit, stay, lay down and shake hands, plus I know how to wait patiently for my bowl to be put down at meal time, and take food gently from your hand. However I do still have lots to learn and am still learning how to be gentle with my teeth and nails especially when I’m excited, so I’ll need continued training to help me master my manners. I would love another doggy friend to play with and show me the ropes, however I could do well as an only-pup as long as I’m not left alone all day. Being a working breed I will need a home with a large yard and an active family. My future family will need to make sure that I get not only plenty of exercise, but also enough mental stimulation to keep me happy and content.
