Tootins

Meet Tootins , a gentle, sweet-natured girl who is looking for a patient and understanding adopter to give her the time and comfort she needs to truly shine. Tootins originally came into care via the Inspectorate alongside another cat and was understandably very frightened by the hectic shelter environment. Since moving into a wonderful foster home, she has been making steady, beautiful progress, revealing herself to be a very gentle and smoochy kitty once she knows she is safe. Her new owners will need to understand that she will be timid when transitioning into a new environment, and it will realistically take a couple of months for her confidence to fully grow. Because she cannot be rushed, she needs a family who will give her the time she needs to realise she is finally in her forever home. Tootins will thrive best in a peaceful household that respects her boundaries while she settles in. She is recommended for a home with teenagers or older, calm children who can read basic cat body language and know exactly when to give her space. Having lived with other felines before, Tootins would love a calm, social cat friend in her new home to help her feel secure, provided her new owners use a gradual introduction process so both cats feel comfortable and have room to move away as needed. She may also do well in a home with a calm, social dog, as long as the owners are able to carefully monitor their interactions. If you have a quiet home and a patient heart, Tootins is ready to reward your kindness with a lifetime of gentle affection.
