💗 Meet Summer! 💗 Summer's story is one of survival, resilience, and a second chance. This beautiful Greyhound was found running loose alongside SH1 near Tokoroa after a member of the public witnessed her narrowly avoiding being hit by a vehicle. Thankfully, they were able to rescue her and bring her safely to us here in Taupō. When Summer arrived, she was very underweight, scared, and suffering from a skin condition. We took her straight to the vet, where she received the treatment and care she desperately needed. ❤️ Now, after lots of love, care, and a month-long home trial, we have learned a little more about the kind of home where Summer would thrive. 💗 Summer would be best suited to a female owner who leads an active lifestyle and loves running just as much as she does! 🏃♀️🐾 She loves to run and would benefit from an owner who can provide her with plenty of opportunities to enjoy her favourite activity, while also giving her the patience, understanding, and affection she needs to feel safe and secure. Summer is a sweet girl who has also been working on her training while in our care. We want to find her the right match - someone who can build a trusting bond with her and help her continue to grow in confidence. After everything she has been through, Summer truly deserves her happy ending.
