About Orbit

I was surrendered to SPCA Auckland because my owner could no longer care for me. I am now looking for my forever home. Orbit is a handsome, happy and goofy boy who LOVES his toys. He has a huge toy and food drive and will sit to attention waiting for you to play fetch or do some fun training! He has quickly became a volunteer favourite, with his eager to learn, play and cuddly attitude! Due to my history, I still act like a younger puppy than I am at times. I would prefer to have people around for parts or most of the day, ideally not leaving me alone for more than 3-4 hours at a time while I am so young. This is to help with toilet training, socialisation and settling into my new routine. I will need someone who is willing to put in plenty of time, love, and effort into making sure I grow up to become the lovely well-rounded dog I know I can be! I would benefit from going to puppy school or dog training classes and would thrive in a home ready to continue my confidence building. I could go to a home with dog-savvy older kids who are prepared for a bouncy pup and are willing to be involved in my training and day-to-day care. Or I could go to a home with another dog who is happy to share their space with me, show me the ropes and be my playmate. This lovely guy is easily excited and has been working really hard on keeping all four paws on the ground. It does seem to be quite hard to remember this! Someone who is consistent and patient will have no problems continuing on his training as he is very responsive and looooves his treats! Or pats. Or walks. Or just any time with humans. If you're looking for a best friend who is affectionate, eager to please, and full of joy, Cole might just be your perfect match. He can't wait to bring love and laughter into his forever home.
