Meet Holly! Holly came into our care alongside her sister and, understandably, needed a little time to find her feet in the big world of humans. During her first few weeks at the centre, Holly preferred to take things at her own pace while she figured out whether the people around her could be trusted. With a little extra patience, reassurance and plenty of love, Holly has slowly come out of her shell and is now ready to start her next adventure in a forever home! Holly can be a little reserved when meeting new people and may need some time to warm up. However, once she has decided you're one of her people, you'll have a very loyal little shadow who won't want to leave your side! Building a relationship with Holly and earning her trust is something that will make the bond you share all the more special. She would benefit from a family who understands that good friendships take time and is happy to let her settle in at her own pace. Don't let her initial shyness fool you, though! Holly is a high-energy puppy with plenty of enthusiasm for life. She will need a home that can keep up with her playful nature, provide her with plenty of enrichment, exercise and opportunities to continue learning about the world around her. As a young puppy, Holly will also need someone who is home for a good portion of the day to help her settle into her new environment, continue her training and support her as she grows into a confident adult dog. Puppy school and ongoing positive reinforcement training would be wonderful ways to help her build confidence and develop her skills. Holly has already made such lovely progress during her time with us, and we can't wait to see her continue to flourish in a home of her own. If you're looking for a playful companion who may take a little time to warm up but will reward your patience with a whole lot of love, Holly could be the girl for you!
