Come and meet Ash, at first glance you might think 'generic brown dog' but she is actually a stunning ginger lady. Due to Ash's Sunny disposition, her cuddliness and wrinkles, she is a volunteer favourite. We think Ash has probably a smidgeon of sharpei in her genetics, hence the wrinkles, which make her look worried even when she's perfectly happy reclining on the staffroom couch with a teddy bear. Ash is a goldilocks size, not too big, not too small. She can be unsure of new objects or the unknown but responds well to re-assurance. Ash does greet people by jumping up at them and standing there on her back legs for a hug, -this habit can be easily trained out, but it means that she may be a bit much for a house with small children. Ash can be suspicious of new dogs, but this is easily managed. She has been fostered in a home with cats and three other dogs (male, female old and young) and she is doing great.
