About Danny

Meet Danny Zucco! Age: 18 months Breed: Mixed breed Size: Large Location: Pt Chevalier, Auckland Best suited to: An experienced, active owner Dogs: Could live with a suitable older dog Cats & Small Animals: Not suitable Children: Teenagers recommended A little about Danny Danny is a lovable goofball with a big personality and an even bigger heart! He’s a confident, energetic boy who loves being out exploring the world with his people. Whether it’s adventures, toys, playing with other dogs or simply hanging out with his humans, Danny wants to be involved in everything! Danny’s favourite things - Playing with his toys - Going on adventures - Spending time with his people - Playing with other dogs - FOOD! Especially big meaty bones Training & personality Danny is a smart boy who is eager to learn and very food motivated. He loves having a job to do, making him a great candidate for activities like agility or scent work. He’ll need an experienced owner who is committed to ongoing training, mental stimulation and helping him develop into the best version of himself. He’s confident and happy to go places, so he’d make a wonderful adventure buddy for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle! Danny’s ideal home Danny is a larger boy who hasn’t quite figured out how big he is yet! Because of his size and youthful energy, a home with teenagers would be best. He could potentially live with another dog, provided they are older than him and a good match. However, due to his high prey drive, he will need a cat-free home. Danny is fully crate trained and sleeps a solid eight hours overnight, so he already has some great foundations in place! Danny’s needs Danny is looking for an experienced dog owner who can provide structure, consistency, ongoing training, plenty of exercise and lots of love. He has so much potential and will thrive with someone who enjoys working with their dog and helping them learn. In return, you’ll get a fun, affectionate and adventurous companion who is ready to take on the world with you!
