My littermates and I came to SPCA as tiny neonates and were lovingly bottle-fed. Now we're ready to find homes of our own! Hello, I'm Buckwheat! 🐾 I'm a precious little puppy who has come a long way since my tiny bottle-fed beginnings. I've got a whole lifetime of adventures waiting for me, and I can't wait to find a family to share them with! I'm still learning about the world, so I'll need a home that understands the commitment that comes with raising a young puppy. With patience, consistency, positive reinforcement and plenty of love, I'll be well on my way to becoming a wonderful companion. I'd be especially happy in a home with a friendly, confident resident dog who can help guide me as I learn the ropes. Dog-savvy children could also be a great fit, as long as they're comfortable around puppies and understand the importance of gentle handling. Confident cats may be suitable with slow introductions and appropriate supervision. I'll need to attend puppy school to help me develop good manners, social skills and confidence as I grow. A securely fenced yard is also essential, giving me a safe space to play, explore and burn off some of that puppy energy. If you've got room in your heart and home for a little Buckwheat, I could be just the special addition you've been looking for! 💕
