Bay Of Islands Animal Rescue proudly presents… Marshall & Shadow! Marshall is a 6-year-old male Golden Labrador who will be desexed before his adoption. He is friendly, affectionate and loves people Loves pats, and so gentle around children often sits close by protecting them. Shadow is a 6-year-old female Black Labrador × German Shepherd cross. She is a quiet, gentle girl who would happily spend all day lying beside you. She loves the beach and playing fetch. Together they are playful and enjoy each other’s company, but they’re just as happy relaxing together in the sunshine. Both dogs are good with children, have not been tested with cats, have limited experience with other dogs apart from the family’s dogs. They were raised on a lifestyle block during COVID, so they weren’t heavily socialised but had plenty of room to roam. Both are calm around livestock, including cows and horses along the fence line, and have never shown any interest in chasing or bothering them. These two have been cherished family members since they were puppies, and we would love to see them stay together in a home that will give them the love and security they deserve.
