My littermates and I came to SPCA as tiny neonates and were lovingly bottle-fed. Now we're ready to find homes of our own! Hi, I'm Basil! 🌿 I'm a gorgeous big boy (the biggest of my litter!) with so much to discover and a whole lot of growing to do! I had a helping hand from my wonderful caregivers when I was just a tiny baby, and now I'm ready to find a family to call my own. I'm at an important stage of development, so I'll need a family who can dedicate time to my training, socialisation and everyday learning. With gentle guidance, consistency and positive reinforcement, I'll have everything I need to become a fantastic companion. I'd love to have a friendly resident dog to show me the ropes. Having a confident canine friend around could be a wonderful way for me to learn and settle into my new surroundings. Dog-savvy children may also be suitable, as long as they understand puppy teething and the importance of gentle handling. Confident cats could be considered with careful introductions. Puppy school is on my to-do list! It's a great way to learn important life skills, develop confidence and make new friends. I'll also need a securely fenced yard where I can safely play and enjoy my puppy adventures. If you've been waiting for a little Basil to brighten up your home, I might just be the one for you! 💚
