I was transferred to SPCA by the local Animal Control to help find my forever home Spud is a gorgeous, wrinkly little potato with a whole lot of personality packed into one irresistibly squishy package! 🥔💛 This happy, playful pup is ready to take on the world, one adventure (and probably one chew toy) at a time. With his adorable wrinkles and big personality, Spud is sure to keep you smiling and fill your days with plenty of puppy mischief, cuddles, and laughter. Still very much in his puppy era, Spud is learning all about the big wide world and how to be the best boy he can be. Like any growing pup, he's going through his teething stage, so his new family will need to be prepared for a little extra chewing and plenty of patience as he learns what's okay to nibble on. Puppy school would be a fantastic way for Spud to build his confidence, learn his manners, and develop the skills he'll need to grow into a well-rounded adult dog. Spud could be a wonderful addition to a home with confident, dog-savvy kids who understand that puppies can be mouthy, excitable, and still learning their boundaries. He'd also love a canine companion to wrestle, play, and get up to mischief with! Having another friendly dog around to show him the ropes and help guide him through puppyhood could be a real bonus. And if you have a sassy cat who knows how to hold their own, Spud may just be happy to share his home with a feline friend, too! Spud does have a medical waiver, so potential adopters will need to have a chat with the team about what this means for his ongoing care. A securely fenced yard is a must, giving this little potato plenty of room to stretch his legs, explore his surroundings, and burn off all that growing-pup energy safely.
