I came to SPCA as a transfer from Animal Control, and now I'm hoping to find my forever home! Hi, I'm Sparrow! 🐾💙 And while I may be missing an eye, I've still got my sights set on finding a family to love me forever! I'm a gorgeous Husky mix with a striking blue eye and the most adorable underbite. I'm a little bit unique, a whole lot of cute, and ready to find my very own people to share life's adventures with! I'm hoping to find a family who will love me for the special girl I am and help me settle into my new life. Whether we're heading out for adventures, learning new things together, or enjoying some quality time at home, I'd love to be by your side! I'd be happy to share my home with another friendly dog! Having a canine companion could be a lovely way to make a new friend and enjoy some company, so if you've already got a friendly pup at home, we could be a great match. I would be just as happy as a solo pup though, as long as I get plenty of attention and enrichment. I could also go to a home with dog-savvy older children or teenagers who understand how to interact with dogs calmly and respectfully. A family who can give me the time, guidance, and encouragement I need to settle in would be just wonderful. I'd absolutely love to head along to puppy school, too! It's a fantastic way for us to learn together, build a bond, practise our manners, and help me grow into the very best version of myself. With positive reinforcement, consistency, and plenty of encouragement, we can make a pretty great team! A fully fenced yard is a must for me. It'll give me a safe space to stretch my legs, explore my surroundings, and enjoy some outdoor time before heading back inside to hang out with my favourite humans.
