Koba is a young, cheeky pup looking for his forever family and a life full of love, adventures and toys! After a rough start to life, Koba has been thriving in foster care, where he's had the chance to settle in and show off his sweet personality. He can be hesitant when meeting new people, particularly men, but once he trusts you, he loves cuddles and will happily follow you around, wanting to be part of whatever you're doing. You might notice Koba is missing his right hind leg! It was amputated due to an old injury, but that certainly hasn't stopped him from enjoying life. He loves walks and zoomies on his three legs, although he's still working on his balance. Koba enjoys getting out and about, but he'll need a family who understands his physical needs as he continues to adjust to life on three legs. Koba is curious, playful and pretty good at entertaining himself. He loves toys, but pegs, plastic bottles, paper bags and cardboard boxes are all fair game, too. Who needs fancy toys when you've got Koba's imagination? Koba is crate-trained but, like all puppies, is still learning and will need ongoing training, socialisation, consistency and positive reinforcement. He'll suit someone who understands that building trust takes time and is happy to help him grow into a confident adult dog. He enjoys the company of other dogs and could have a canine companion, but he could also be happy as the only dog in his home. He has shown potential to live with cats, children and other animals, with appropriate introductions and supervision. Koba has so much personality packed into one little three-legged body. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate companion and are ready for the rewards of helping a young dog find his feet (so to speak!), could Koba be the perfect addition to your family?
