I was surrendered to SPCA via the inspectorate team Meet Lola - a gorgeous young girl who has come a long way and is growing into a more confident, happy pup with a heart of gold! Despite not having the easiest start to life, Lola's loving, goofy personality continues to shine through, and she's ready to find a family who will help her keep blossoming. Lola has made wonderful progress with her confidence, but she can still feel unsure when left alone. She would do best in a home where someone is around for most of the day, or even better, with a friendly, confident canine companion to keep her company, be her best mate, and show her the ropes! Having a doggy friend by her side could make all the difference in helping Lola feel happy and settled. Lola is still a young girl who is learning her good manners, so ongoing training, positive reinforcement, and perhaps some obedience classes or dog school would be a great way to continue building her confidence and skills. Cats and other small animals can be a little too exciting for Lola, so a home without them would likely be best, or one prepared to put the right management and guidance in place. Lola would be best suited to a family with dog-savvy older kids who can respect her needs and give her the time and understanding she deserves. She will also need a home with secure, high fencing to keep her safe and sound while she enjoys her outdoor time. Lola has so much love to give and is ready to keep growing into the wonderful companion she's meant to be. With a loving family, a little patience, and ideally a four-legged best friend, this gorgeous, goofy girl could be the perfect addition to your home.
