About Harry

Harry is a fun-loving, adventurous boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Having spent his whole life in the shelter since he was a puppy, the world outside can feel a little overwhelming at first. New people and unfamiliar places can be scary, but with a little patience and reassurance, he warms up quickly and shows his affectionate, goofy side. Harry loves nothing more than getting out on an adventure. Whether it's exploring the river, splashing at the beach, or heading off on a hiking trail, he's always ready to go. He's an active dog who would thrive with a family that enjoys the outdoors and can give him plenty of exercise and enrichment. He's a strong fella who can get a little excited, so he'll need a confident, experienced owner who can continue his training. Harry will benefit with ongoing positive training which will help him become the best version of himself. One of Harry's favourite things is carrying his soft toys around the paddock, proudly trotting about while making his adorable little grumbling noises. He also loves swimming in the paddling pool when he gets too hot. Harry is very food motivated, making him eager to learn and highly responsive to reward-based training. He also enjoys being brushed and is more than happy to soak up the attention. Harry gets along well with female dogs and could enjoy a suitable canine companion after careful introductions. Because of his strength and enthusiasm, Harry would be best suited to a home without young children. He is looking for an experienced owner who can provide consistent training, confidence and guidance while helping him continue to grow.
