Meet Athena 🐾 After a very rough start to life, sweet Athena has received all the medical treatment she needed, along with plenty of extra love, patience, and TLC in foster care. Now this brave little girl is healthy, happy, and ready to find the forever family she truly deserves. Athena is a goofy, affectionate puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves to play, zoom around the yard, chase her toys, and soak up all the cuddles she can get. Her fosterer describes her as a loving, intelligent, sweet-natured, and strong-willed puppy who enjoys being close to her people and would make a wonderful addition to a lucky family. This friendly girl loves meeting people and happily greets visitors with a wagging tail and plenty of affection. She was also very keen to make friends with other animals and showed a gentle, social nature. While she can be a little nervous around larger dogs at first, with a bit of time, patience, and a few tasty treats, she quickly gains confidence and loves to run and play alongside them. Athena is a clever pup who is already making great progress with her training. She learns quickly and has been working hard on her basic manners and toilet training. Like many puppies her age, she has a cheeky and sometimes stubborn streak, but she responds well to positive reinforcement and is eager to learn. Currently Athena is in what we lovingly call her "land shark" phase! She enjoys chewing, nibbling, and exploring the world with her mouth, but she has already learned to redirect her attention onto her chew toys, which are some of her favourite things to play with. Athena thrives on companionship and loves being involved in daily life. She enjoys relaxing beside her people and is happiest when she has company nearby. Because of her young age. Athena would be best suited to a home where she won't be left alone for long periods and where her family can continue building her confidence and training. Athena has come such a long way since arriving in care. She's a resilient little girl who has overcome a difficult beginning and blossomed into a playful, loving puppy with so much potential. All she needs now is a family to call her own. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling and reward you with endless love, Athena could be the perfect match for you. ❤️
