I came into the care of SPCA as my owner could no longer look after me, I'm now ready to find my forever home! Meet Fleur! A beautiful pup with a heart as big as her personality. This radiant, joyful girl has quickly become an absolute shelter favourite, and it's not hard to see why. From the moment she arrived, Fleur has shown everyone she meets just how much love, trust and affection she has to give. Fleur arrived to the SPCA with bilateral entropion, a condition where the eyelids roll inward and can cause the eyelashes or eyelid hairs to rub against the eye. Fleur has undergone surgery to correct the bilateral entropion. She has received the veterinary care she needed and is now able to move forward with the comfort and care she deserves. Her surgery is an important part of her journey, and we're so pleased to see this beautiful girl continuing to thrive and show everyone just how special she is Her affectionate nature is matched by a wonderfully enthusiastic and playful spirit. Fleur loves getting out and about and can bring plenty of excitement to her walks, but underneath that enthusiasm is a clever girl who is eager to learn and eager to please. She has been working hard on her training and is making fantastic progress every day. Fleur responds wonderfully to her handling protocols and continues to show us how capable she is when given clear guidance, consistency and encouragement. Her loose-lead walking is improving steadily, and she is proving that she is more than ready to keep learning and growing alongside her future family. Every little bit of progress is something to celebrate with this clever girl! Fleur would thrive best as the only dog in the household, where she can soak up all the love, attention and affection her heart desires. She has so much devotion to give and would love nothing more than having her very own people to adore and, of course, plenty of opportunities for cuddles, treats and those much-loved belly rubs. What makes Fleur so special is her incredible capacity for love.
