Montgomery

Montgomery was surrendered to the SPCA when his owner could no longer look after him. He's now looking for a new home to spend his golden years. Meet Montgomery, known as Monty to his friends. Monty is a handsome older gentleman looking for a peaceful home to spend his retirement. He absolutely loves people and will meow with excitement when new people introduce themselves to him and give him attention. While Monty does like having time to himself, he's at his happiest curled up beside a trusted human and getting some good pats. Monty's kitten days are now behind him and he doesn't enjoy running around or chasing toys. He very much prefers snuggles to playtime. Monty is on a special diet, so love is best shown through scritches, rather than temptations. Monty's ideal home is somewhere quiet and peaceful with no other pets. Being around young children might be overwhelming for him, but he could go to a home with quiet older children who will know when to let him have his own space. Montgomery does come with a health waiver, and staff will be happy to talk this through with her new family. Please note that submitting an application does not reserve the cat. This means the cat you're interested in may be adopted before your visit.
