About Lucy & Fern

Double the Love: Meet Lucy & Fern! TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER These two girls have been in our care for going on two years with almost no interest since they've been ready to find their family... will they finally get their forever home and will that be with you?! Lucy and Fern are a beautiful bonded pair looking for a quiet, calm forever home where they can blossom at their own pace. These two timid sweethearts have made incredible progress in foster care, and their wonderful, unique personalities are truly beginning to shine. They need a patient, predictable environment with no children or loud noises. They love to snuggle and have 'zoomies' together, so they must be adopted as a pair. Both are affectionate on their own terms—they may not jump on the couch just yet, but they welcome attention if you come to them! Lucy (affectionately known as 'Goose') has an array of comical facial expressions that will constantly make you smile. She loves sunbathing, independent play, and watching birds from the window. Once she feels safe, she turns on a deep purr and loves tummy rubs. She’ll even playfully nudge her way in for cuddles if she sees Fern getting attention! Fern is a highly intelligent, curious, and vocal girl who thrives on routine. She will happily sit on your bedside table to remind you it’s breakfast time! She loves finding cozy new nooks to curl up in, gives sweet head bunts and when relaxed, has grown confident enough to open up for her own tummy rubs. Lucy and Fern have completely stolen their foster family's hearts. They just need a gentle, understanding adopter who appreciates the rewarding journey of earning a timid cat's trust. If you have the love, time, and patience to allow them to let down their guard and become their true selves, you will be rewarded with a loving pair of housemates.
