🐾 Meet Dewey! 🐾 Dewey has come a long way since she first arrived here at our Taupō centre, but she's still working out whether she really thinks humans are okay! 💕 Dewey came into our care from a rural property, where she was brought in via a trap as an unwanted cat. She spent a few days separated from her brother Melon while we worked on bringing him in, and both cats found the whole experience pretty overwhelming. Once they were reunited, Dewey began to settle and slowly showed us more of her personality. She is still a little unsure of people and isn't quite ready to be your typical "run up and ask for pats" kind of girl. She needs someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her come around at her own pace. Dewey may not be completely convinced about humans just yet, but with patience, love and a quiet home, we believe there is a sweet girl in there waiting to come out. ❤️ 🏡 If you think you could be the patient person Dewey is looking for, please apply online to arrange a meet and greet.
