About Wally Wobbles
Wally was brought to SPCA after a kind member found him wandering around with a head tilt. After receiving some TLC, he's now ready to find his forever home!
Meet Wally Wobbles!
Curious, playful, and ridiculously cuddly, Wally Wobbles is a little adventurer with a whole lot of love to give! He loves exploring new surroundings and investigating everything around him, but once he's finished his adventures, he'll happily come looking for pats, cuddles, and a lap to climb onto. Expect lots of enthusiastic headbutts to the face as personal space isn't really his thing!
Wally is also a BIG foodie! He absolutely loves his kitten food, kitten wet food, and treats, and he'll try his luck with anything else he can get his paws on, so keep your food safely out of reach!
Wally has mild cerebellar hypoplasia, which means he does have a slight head tilt and is a little wobbly on his feet, but it certainly doesn't stop him from enjoying life to the fullest! He has no trouble jumping up onto things and exploring his surroundings - in fact, he's even figured out how to open a window and make his great escape! Because of his wobbliness, Wally must be kept indoors or have access to a fully enclosed catio to keep him safe.
As Wally has already mastered the art of opening windows, his new home will need to have secure window safety measures in place, such as baby locks or window latches that prevent windows from opening wide enough for him to escape. Any open gap must be narrower than his head to prevent him from squeezing through. A high-sided litter tray is also recommended, as he can flick litter out of the tray due to his wobbliness.
Wally may be able to live with another cat, provided introductions are slow and careful. He has got along with one of his foster's cats but can feel overwhelmed around others, so a calm home where he can have his own space would be ideal. He can also be startled by loud noises, making a quieter home with no dogs and no young children best suited to him. Teenagers may be a good fit.
If you're looking for a sweet, curious little companion who will keep you entertained with his antics and reward you with endless affection, Wally Wobbles could be the perfect match for you!
