Charlie

Charlie is a gentleman who likes to take life at his own pace. He’s still settling into the cattery and is finding all the new sights, sounds and people a little overwhelming. For now, his favourite spot is curled up snugly in his bed, where he can watch the world go by from somewhere he feels safe. Charlie can be a little hissy when he’s feeling scared or uncomfortable. His hisses are really his way of saying “i’m not sure about this yet”, rather than showing his true nature. He needs someone to listen to those signals, give him space when he asks for it and allow him to build confidence at his own pace. Once Charlie feels comfortable with you, you will discover a much softer side. He does enjoy gentle pats, and hearing that quiet purr start up is a lovely sign that Charlie is beginning to trust you. Charlie will suit a quiet home where he is the only pet. Older teens aged 16 plus would be best.
