About Cuddles

Cuddles came into the SPCA after her owner passed away. After lots of TLC in foster, she is now looking for her forever home. Meet Cuddles 🐾💛 - From shy to sun-bathing! Cuddles went to foster as a very shy foster girl. Her crate was her safe zone, her whole world. Loud noises would spook her and she'd run straight back to it. Just look at her now. In a few short weeks, brave little Cuddles has started venturing out, exploring the house, and finding all the best sunny spots. She's made friends with her human foster sister and decided under her bed is the second-best safe zone. And as you can see from these photos - she now feels safe enough to snooze in the sunshine, all stretched out, on our blankets and rugs. What Cuddles is like: 💛Shy at first, but gives the sweetest cuddles once she knows you 💛LOVES being picked up for a smoochy hello - never misses it 💛Gets so happy when you come home from work, she comes to greet you 💛 Loves her quiet, cozy corners and a warm sunbeam 💛Not a lap cat just yet - but she's so close. With time, trust and patience, she will be 💛Needs a calm, quiet home - loud noises still scare her 💛Would love to be your one and only - she's not a fan of other female cats (the resident tortie and her have had a few hissy discussions!) Cuddles isn't asking for a perfect home, just a patient one. Someone who will let her keep her safe crate, let her hide under the bed if she needs to, and celebrate every little brave step - like these sunny naps. If you have a quiet home and a big, patient heart, Cuddles will give you the most rewarding slow-burn love story. Cuddles does come with a health waiver, and staff will be happy to talk this through with her new family. Please note that submitting an application does not reserve the cat. This means the cat you're interested in may be adopted before your visit.
