About Jasmin

MEET JASMIN! SHE IS IDEALLY LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME OR A FOSTER HOME, POTENTIALLY WITH VIEW TO ADOPT Jasmin was found abandoned in a box with her brother when she was about 4–5 months old. Her brother was friendly from the start, but Jasmin was terrified and wanted nothing to do with humans. We gave her all the time and patience she needed, with no expectation that she’d ever change. It took about two years, and for a long while it looked like it might never happen. But much to our surprise and delight, she slowly started to mellow. Now 4 years old, she craves human attention. Jasmin loves a cuddle and any kind of loving attention. Walk past her while she’s on the cat stand and she’ll reach out and grab your attention, pretty much literally! She puts her paw out to touch your arm as if to say, “Hey, I need some loving.” It’s very cute, though her claws can catch you (never aggressively). We think that in a home, with more one-on-one attention, she won’t feel the need to ask quite so insistently. She’s a small girl with the most gorgeous eyes. Her photo doesn’t do her justice! She gets on well with other cats too, so if you’re keen to take on two, have a look at Maleficent’s post as well. Jasmin has been living in a shelter rather than a home, so we’d love to see how she gets on in a foster-to-adopt arrangement. She’s very comfortable with us, but a move will be scary for her and she may go backwards for a while before she settles. A home with plenty of time and patience is essential. Ideal home: • Indoor only, or indoor with a catio • Quiet household • No small children • Patience while she settles in If it doesn’t work out, we’re always happy to take her back. She has stolen a piece of our hearts.
