Meet Rio 💕 Rio was left at a vet clinic when she was only 2 months old. Once she arrived to us she had cat flu, taking her a couple weeks to recover from. Understandably, the world felt like a very scary place for such a tiny girl, and it took her some time to recover and learn to trust again. When Rio first arrived, she was very hissy, frightened, and unsure of people. But with patience and care, this sweet girl has slowly started coming out of her shell. While she can still be timid at times and may flinch or give the occasional hiss when being picked up, she's learning that she's safe and loved. Once Rio trusts you, her true personality shines through - she becomes a purry, playful, affectionate little cat who loves to show off her growing confidence. She just needs someone willing to give her the time and understanding she deserves. Rio would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can continue building her confidence at her own pace. Rio also has a cute half tail that she was born with making it another added cute feature of hers . Watching her blossom has been incredibly rewarding, and we know the right person will fall in love with her gentle soul just like we have 🐾
