About Firecracker
Meet Firecracker (Fefe). This velvety grey boy is sweet and goofy. He was initially a bit scared and withdrawn, but he is really coming out of his shell in his foster home. He's young and playful (especially in the evenings), but not too rambunctious. He's actually pretty relaxed for a teenager 😅. He likes other cats, and I've been told he was okay with dogs in his previous foster home. Fefe particularly likes running around after his equally energetic foster sister and play-fighting with his very tolerant big foster brother. He's very well behaved with his food (he's happy to eat anything, although that occasionally includes trying to steal his foster mum's cereal) and his toileting habits (impeccable and seemingly not fussed about what litter is used).
Fefe will need a person or family who respects his boundaries and will not rush him into anything he's not ready for. He's still learning that people are safe, so he's not a big fan of sudden movements or big changes in his environment. If you're gentle, he will repay you with lots of affection. He voluntarily comes and sits on his foster mum's lap and doesn't mind being picked up by a trusted person. He's showing all the signs of being a total love bug and will likely bond closely with his person(s). He needs a safe environment and will thrive as a spoiled indoor cat 😊.
Medical Notes
Firecracker has a skin condition called Feline Acne or Chin Acne. It is not known what causes this skin reaction, though it is usually mild and manageable. Using stainless steel or ceramic bowls rather than plastic often assists.
