Meet Humphrey F0919 Humphrey is a beautiful 6-year-old Groodle with a heart as big as his curls. This gorgeous boy is an absolute love bug who wants nothing more than to be wherever his humans are. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will adore you completely, supervise your gardening, snuggle beside you on the couch and happily share your bed at night, Humphrey may just be your perfect match. Humphrey is wonderfully social and adores both cats and other dogs. He loves playing fetch with a ball, pottering around outside alongside his humans and, most of all, simply being included in everyday life. His tight, curly coat requires relatively little day-to-day maintenance and, thanks to his Poodle heritage, he has minimal to no shedding. He will still need professional grooming every couple of months to keep his face, head and feet looking and feeling their best. Humphrey’s enormous love for his people does come with one important consideration: he becomes quite anxious when left alone. If his humans leave, Humphrey may try very hard to follow them — including digging under or jumping over fences. For this reason, secure, high fencing is an absolute must or the ability to be left inside. His dream home would be with a retired person or couple, or someone who is home most of the time and genuinely wants a dog to be part of their everyday life. Humphrey isn’t looking to be a backyard dog or spend long days home alone — he’s looking for his person. And yes, Humphrey would very much like sleeping in your bed to be included in the arrangement! Being close to his human is where he is happiest. As an added bonus, Humphrey’s current foster family absolutely adore him and would be happy to dog-sit if his new family occasionally travels. Humphrey has so much love to give. He’s looking for a home where that devotion will be treasured and where he can finally find the human who is just as happy to have him close as he is to be there.
