Zeus

About Zeus

Meet Zeus, a handsome, powerful boy who has sadly found himself back in our care after being regretfully surrendered. Through no fault of his own, Zeus is once again searching for a forever home—this time with someone who truly understands the commitment of owning a strong, loyal companion. Zeus is looking for an adult-only home with experienced dog owners who are confident handling large, powerful breeds. He will thrive with someone who is physically capable of walking him, providing clear and consistent boundaries, and offering the companionship he craves. Zeus isn't looking for just an owner—he's looking for his person, someone who will earn his trust and be rewarded with unwavering loyalty. When meeting new people, Zeus can initially be unsure and lacks confidence. He appreciates calm, patient introductions that allow him to build trust at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate, gentle nature shines through, and he forms incredibly strong bonds with the people he loves. An intelligent boy, Zeus enjoys learning and has already mastered commands including sit, drop, middle, and down. He would relish the opportunity to continue his training and mental enrichment with a family committed to helping him reach his full potential. Zeus enjoys positive social interactions with other dogs and, while he has never lived with another dog, he could potentially share his home with a well-matched canine companion following successful introductions. Zeus has also recently undergone surgery to remove a low-grade mast cell tumour. The tumour was completely removed, and our veterinary team is very optimistic about his prognosis, believing he has an excellent outlook following surgery. To provide peace of mind for his future family, Zeus will be rehomed under a SCARS Health Agreement, with SCARS covering the cost of any future treatment related to this condition should it ever be required. This means his adopters can focus on giving him the loving home he deserves, knowing they have ongoing support. If you're searching for a loyal, intelligent companion who will stand by your side through every adventure, Zeus is ready to repay your love with a lifetime of devotion.
