About Matilda

Adoption Pending **Tilly – A Smart Little Cattle Dog Mix Ready for Adventure!** Meet Tilly, an affectionate, smart and incredibly sweet Australian Cattle Dog mix with a big personality packed into a pint-sized body! Tilly is an eager little learner who loves taking direction and will thrive with a family who enjoys training and getting involved with their dog. She would make a wonderful companion for someone interested in **dog sports, obedience or other activities** that allow her clever mind to stay busy. Tilly grew up on acreage, where she was accustomed to having plenty of space and opportunities to explore. Sadly, her family had to downsize to a smaller property and found they no longer had enough time or space to meet Tilly’s needs. Through no fault of her own, she is now looking for a new family who can provide the active lifestyle she is used to. Tilly would suit children over 5 years who are dog-savvy and understand how to interact respectfully with an active working-breed dog. She is crate trained overnight and would love a home with a **large secure yard or property** where she can stretch her legs and enjoy being active. Tilly has not lived with another dog, but she may enjoy the company of a well-matched canine playmate following careful introductions. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate and enthusiastic little companion, Tilly could be your perfect match!
