Sammi is a 3-year-old male Staffy mix with a gentle soul and a heart that’s quietly learning how to trust again. He came to us from the pound through no fault of his own, carrying the weight of uncertainty but showing remarkable bravery every step of the way. Naturally soft-natured and a little timid, Sammi approaches the world carefully. He isn’t the type to rush into friendships, but with slow, respectful introductions, his true character shines through. Once he feels safe, Sammi reveals himself to be affectionate, loyal, and deeply appreciative of kindness. Watching him gain confidence with volunteers and staff has been incredibly rewarding—each small step forward is a big victory for this brave boy. Sammi is looking for a calm, understanding home with children aged 14 years and over, where life can move at his pace. He will thrive with adopters who are patient, consistent, and willing to let trust grow naturally. While Sammi isn’t suited to busy cafés or crowded social scenes, he would love nothing more than being your quiet companion on bush walks and peaceful trail adventures. To help set everyone up for success, Sammi's adoption includes a training package to support his transition into his forever home.
