About Ox

*Adoption Pending* ***Currently in Foster. Please call to make an appointment 07 5494 5275*** Meet Ox, an adorable Pocket Bully with a huge personality and a zest for life! Ox came into our care as a surrender due to his health needs. He has a genetic heart condition and ongoing skin issues, but don't let his medical history fool you—Ox certainly doesn't let it slow him down! He is a wonderfully social and happy boy who enjoys living life to the fullest. He loves heading out for a café visit, strolling along the beach and spending quality time with his people. SCARS is committed to supporting Ox and his future family with his ongoing veterinary care to help alleviate the financial burden associated with managing his health conditions. His new family will need to be committed to following his veterinary care plan and monitoring his exercise and wellbeing. Ox is good with children but has never lived with a cat. He is best suited as the only dog in the home, simply to help prevent him becoming overly excited and exhausting himself. As a brachycephalic breed, Ox also needs careful consideration during warmer weather. His new home must have access to air conditioning during summer, and walks should be limited to the coolest parts of the day. Ox is currently enjoying life in foster care and is available via application only through the SCARS website. Only successful applicants will be contacted. Ox may have a dodgy ticker, but his heart is certainly full of love!
