Meet Polly, a beautiful Mastiff mix who came into our care as an unclaimed stray from the pound. Polly is a big girl with an incredibly soft nature and a heart to match. She is affectionate, loyal and loves spending time with her people. While she can be a little unsure when first meeting new men, she warms up quickly once she has had the chance to get to know them. Polly does seem to naturally gravitate towards women, so a home where she can take things at her own pace when meeting new people will help her feel comfortable. Like many larger breeds, Polly is a strong girl and will benefit from continued training and guidance. Attending dog school would be a great way to help her develop her lead manners, build confidence and strengthen the bond with her new family. Polly is looking for a family who understands and appreciates larger breeds and has previous experience with big dogs. She would be best suited to children over 12 years of age. Loyal, fun-loving and wonderfully affectionate, Polly has plenty of love to give. Once she knows and trusts you, you’ll have a devoted companion by your side.
