Meet Queen Penelope — aka Penny Lane, Penny or Money Penny I am Queen Penelope, so naturally I should be first in everything. Between you and me, I think my sister Josephine is just jealous of my natural eyeliner and, dare I say it, my long legs. I was born around 10 July 2026. There were six of us, but sadly only four of us made it. We were all pretty sick when we came to Paws Restart, but with lots of care, love and attention, we are now thriving. So, back to me. I’ve learnt this wonderful little trick where I look deep into your eyes with my beautiful eyes, which just happen to be surrounded by NATURAL EYELINER, and you melt. Then you hand over all the treats, smother me with kisses and cuddles, and eventually sit down somewhere I can access your lap for a long and luxurious massage. Honestly, I don’t make the rules. I’m a Queen. I’m curious, brave, kind, sweet and spicy all rolled into one. I’m learning about sleeping in a crate, going to the toilet outside and coming when the humans yell P-E-N-E-L-O-P-E while shaking the treat jar. I mean, who wouldn’t come? We’ve also been playing with some bigger dogs who are helping us learn how to dog. I would really like a dog mentor in my life because, while humans are wonderful, there are some things they simply cannot teach me properly. Like how to wipe my butt in a suitably Queenly manner. I’m a rescue special, so my heritage is a little questionable, but my royal status is not. I’m likely to grow into a medium to large-sized dog, so I’ll need a family who understands that this little Queen is going to grow into a rather magnificent lady. I’m looking for a home where I can continue learning, exploring and growing into the best version of myself, with plenty of love, training, enrichment and, naturally, an appropriate amount of admiration. So, if you have royal blood and a home fit for a Queen — albeit a rescue puppy with dodgy heritage — then I am absolutely the girl for you.
