Meet this handsome boy, Dice - built different, but in all the best ways. This isn't your typical easy-going, "just point me in the right direction" kind of dog. He's a Bull Terrier through and through - quirky, clever, busy-minded, stubborn when he feels like it, and completely full of personality. He has a racing mind and loves having something to do. He'll keep you on your toes and will happily find his own entertainment if you don't give him a job! He's the kind of boy who needs a person willing to get to know him, his quirks, his routines, and the unique little ways he communicates. And speaking of communication... this boy has opinions. Bull Terriers can be wonderfully expressive, and he's no exception. He may growl, huff, grumble and make noises that sound like he's about to file a formal complaint - but don't panic! He's not being mean; he's talking! He has stories to tell, instructions to give, and apparently some very strong opinions about how things should be done. He's also a boy who can be selective about the people he chooses to trust, and he can be particularly unsure of men. He's not the kind of dog who will necessarily greet everyone as an instant friend, and that's something his future people will need to understand and respect. Taking things slowly, giving him space, and allowing him to build trust at his own pace is absolutely key for him. Once he feels safe and comfortable with you, you'll get to see much more of the affectionate, funny and wonderfully quirky boy underneath. He absolutely loves being close to his people and wants to be involved in whatever is happening. He's affectionate in his own wonderfully Bull Terrier way and will happily keep you company while making sure you know exactly what he thinks of your life choices. He also has a stubborn streak, but we think that's part of the charm. He's not a dog who will blindly do everything simply because you asked. He's going to make you earn your place in his little committee of important people. Once you understand how he ticks, though, that big personality is exactly what makes him so special. This boy needs someone who understands that Bull Terriers aren't always straightforward dogs. He'll need patience, consistency, mental stimulation, boundaries, and someone who can appreciate a dog with a little extra Bull Terrier flavour. He isn't looking for someone who wants a cookie-cutter companion - he's looking for someone who will embrace the quirks, respect his boundaries, give him time to trust, and laugh along with him. He's a good boy. Just... built different.
