I was surrendered to the SPCA because my previous home couldn't provide the care I deserved. Now, I'm ready to find my forever family - one who will help me grow in confidence and love me for the wonderfully quirky girl I am! Meet Radar! 📡 This gorgeous girl has ridiculously short legs and ears that look like they're trying to pick up a signal from outer space! With her unique looks and adorable personality, she's sure to stand out from the crowd. But there's so much more to me than my funny features - underneath it all is a loving girl who's just waiting for the right person to help her shine. 💕 I can be quite nervous when meeting new people and experiencing new things, so I'll need a little time to feel comfortable. But once I learn to trust you, get ready for the real Radar to come out! Think zoomies, affection, playful antics and lots of love. Once I'm feeling safe, my personality really starts to blossom, and you'll get to see just how special I am. 🥰 I may have missed out on some of the important puppy basics growing up, but I'm working hard to catch up! I'm learning really well, I'm eager to please, and with the right guidance, I'm ready to keep building my skills and confidence. I'll need an experienced, patient home that understands fearful behaviours and is willing to help me navigate the world at my own pace. Some sessions with a qualified trainer or behaviourist would be a fantastic way to help me learn and set me up for success. I'm also a lovely girl when it comes to other dogs! I play really nicely with my canine friends, and I'd benefit enormously from living with a confident, well-matched dog who can show me the ropes and help me feel more secure. Having a brave buddy by my side could make a world of difference as I learn that the world isn't such a scary place after all! Because I'm still learning to navigate the world with confidence, I'd be best suited to a home with teenagers or adults only who can understand my needs and give me the guidance and reassurance I need. I'll also need a fully fenced yard where I can safely explore, play and let those fabulous little legs carry me into a few zoomies! I'm not looking for a home that expects me to have everything figured out from day one. I'm looking for someone who sees my potential, celebrates my progress and understands that building trust takes time. In return, you'll get to watch a nervous girl transform into a happy, affectionate and playful companion who knows she's finally safe. If you've got experience, patience and a little room in your heart for a short-legged girl with satellite-dish ears, I could be the Radar you've been searching for! I'm ready to tune into my forever family - could that be you? 💖📡🐾
