Elora

Elora was surrendered to the SPCA when her owner could no longer look after her. She's now on the hunt for her forever home. Meet Elora! Elora is a gorgeous girl looking for a home that will give her all the love she deserves while also respecting her independence. Elora can be a bit shy around new people and appreciates it when people introduce themselves to her slowly and give her the option to say hello without forcing her to interact with them. Once Elora feels comfortable around someone, she loves spending time with them. She'll headbutt them to ask for pats and follow them around her space to see what they're up to. You can tell when she's especially glad to see you because her tail will wiggle with excitement. Elora isn't a very active cat, but she does enjoy the odd play session every now and then, especially with a dangling toy. She also loves to climb up high and explore every corner of her space. While Elora enjoys company and pats, she's not a cat who likes to be picked up and cuddled. She very much values her "me time" and likes to spend time to herself either lounging in the sun or curled up in a hidey hole for a nap. Because of her love for peace and quiet, Elora's ideal home would be one with no other pets or children. Elora does come with a health waiver, and staff will be happy to talk this through with her new family. Please note that submitting an application does not reserve the cat. This means the cat you're interested in may be adopted before your visit.
