Meet Fido! Fido’s journey has been one of growth and discovery. When he first arrived at the shelter, the world felt like a very scary place, and he was overwhelmed and unsure of everything around him. With time, patience, and lots of kindness, Fido has blossomed into a playful, affectionate boy who is ready to find a family of his own. These days, you’ll often find Fido happily chasing after his favourite toys, exploring the world one sniff at a time on his walks, or showering his favourite people with sweet kisses. He has a curious nose that loves to investigate everything within reach, and his playful personality shines brighter every day. Because Fido was quite nervous when he first came into our care, he is looking for a calm, adult-only home where he will be the only pet and can continue building his confidence at his own pace. He will thrive with a patient and understanding family who can support him as he learns that new experiences aren’t so scary and guide him on his journey to becoming the best boy he can be. In return, Fido will reward his people with loyalty, affection, and plenty of fun-filled adventures.
