About SoCares Central Coast Animal Shelters
SoCares runs the Central Coast Council animal shelters at Erina and Charmhaven, north of Sydney, taking in impounded, stray and surrendered dogs and cats from across the Central Coast. Each dog profile lists date of birth, breed, sex and a detailed carer bio, with an adoption fee that covers desexing, microchipping, lifetime NSW registration, current vaccination and flea and worming treatment. Cats are rehomed largely through a Meow Meet and Greet matching service rather than individual online listings.
