With gentle encouragement and a patient approach, her sweet personality starts to emerge. Smarty is a little more fearful and tends to take longer to trust, preferring to observe from a safe distance before deciding to join in. Both dogs need adopters who understand that confidence grows at their own pace and that small victories are worth celebrating.
