Meet Gibby, a very friendly, curious little gentleman! Gibby is a lovely staffy boy searching for a forever family. He has been a little stressed in our care and he is particularly wary of other dogs, so he would be best suited to a patient home with kids over 12. He would be very happy to soak up all of your attention as the only animal in the home or could possibly live with a cat, but wouldn't be a good fit to go home with another dog. Gibby is a delight to train because he is very food motivated! He spent some time in foster care, where he has already learned basic commands and recall. He was an incredibly loving and affectionate boy with his foster family - as long as he's near his humans, he's happy! Give him a belly rub or a head scratch and he'll be your new best friend. At four years old, he's past the puppy stage but still has plenty of energy for walks, games of tug of war, or fetch. Although he is a very sweet, mature boy, Gibby still needs some support from his new family to build his confidence in unfamiliar environments and especially with gradual, positive introductions to other dogs.
