Meet Ranger 🐾 Ranger is a handsome Cattle Dog who might be a little nervous when you first meet him, but give him a little time and you’ll soon discover the cuddly, affectionate boy underneath. Once Ranger gets to know you, he loves being close to his people — especially when there are plenty of kisses involved! True to his Cattle Dog nature, Ranger is a smart and alert boy who can become very interested in fast-moving things passing nearby. He may try to chase them, so he’ll be happiest living in a quieter area where there isn’t too much busy activity going on around him. Ranger is fantastic on lead and walks beautifully, making him a lovely companion for exploring his surroundings. He’s also super smart and very responsive to training, so he really enjoys having his clever mind put to work. With the right guidance and plenty of positive reinforcement, Ranger is sure to continue impressing his new family with just how much he can learn. Once he feels comfortable, Ranger’s affectionate personality really shines through. He loves spending time with his people and will happily soak up all the attention and cuddles he can get. Ranger would do best in a home with children over 12 and no small animals, with a family who understands his Cattle Dog instincts and can provide him with a calm environment, regular exercise and plenty of mental stimulation.
