Meet Dave, a big-hearted mastiff cross with a personality to match his size. He is sweet, affectionate, and genuinely playful, the kind of dog who throws himself into life with enthusiasm and wants you right there alongside him. Dave loves his toys and brings real energy to every play session. He can be a little vocal when meeting new people, which is simply his way of working out the lay of the land. With time and the right introduction, he warms up well. Dave is a smart dog with loads of potential, and training will be one of the best investments his new family can make. He picks things up quickly and responds well to structure and positive reinforcement. He is currently working on his manners with other dogs and is open to meeting the right canine companion. With consistent guidance and positive experiences, he has every capability to grow into a confident and well-rounded dog. Food is a serious motivator for Dave, which is great news for training and enrichment. Puzzle feeders, Kongs, and food-based games will keep his busy mind engaged and his energy well directed. He needs daily exercise and plenty of mental stimulation to be his happiest self, so an active routine is a must. He is not a good fit for a home with cats, and any dog he lives with would need to be calm and carefully matched to set him up for success. The ideal home for Dave is one where someone is around for a good chunk of the day, making him best suited to part-time workers or those with a flexible schedule. He needs time, attention, and engagement rather than long stretches alone. Give Dave consistent training, plenty of exercise, good food, and a devoted person in his corner, and this big, joyful dog will reward you tenfold. My adoption fee includes desexing, health check, microchipping, I am up-to-date with vaccinations and eligible for free lifetime registration.
