Poppie

Poppie is a sweet and gentle girl who might play a little coy when you first meet, but she certainly doesn't make you wait too long to become friends. Once she decides you're worthy of her affection, her shy side quickly disappears and out comes the real Poppie - rolling around, dramatically flopping over in front of you and making it very clear that she's ready for some attention. And attention is definitely high on Poppie's list of favourite things! Ear scratches and long, gentle pats along her body are particularly appreciated, and given the choice between a tasty treat and a good ear scratch, there's a fair chance she'll choose the scratch. She does have her preferences when it comes to affection and isn't particularly fond of being touched underneath her chin or on her belly, so sticking to her favourite spots is the quickest way to stay in her good books. Poppie hasn't shown us much interest in toys so far, preferring food-based enrichment and time spent with her people instead. She'll happily accept treats when they're offered and has perfect litter tray manners. Other cats, however, don't seem to be particularly high on her social calendar. She has hissed when meeting them and, while she hasn't looked for trouble, she doesn't appear especially interested in making feline friends either. Poppie could settle into a variety of homes with people who are happy to give her a little time to find her feet. She may initially hang back while she gets to know you, but it doesn't take long before this affectionate girl starts actively seeking you out. If your idea of a good relationship involves plenty of ear scratches, full-body pats and a cat dramatically flopping at your feet to remind you she's there, Poppie might be exactly who you've been waiting for.
