Little Miss

Little Miss can be a timid girl when meeting new people - although apparently even she likes to keep us guessing, because sometimes the stranger danger simply doesn't show up! With the people she knows, however, things are very different. Offer her a gentle ear scratch and you'll soon feel her relax into your hand and hear that little purr start up. Then, if you're particularly lucky, you may witness one of Little Miss's greatest mysteries: the razzle dazzle leg. One leg goes dramatically into the air, enthusiasm reaches maximum capacity, and absolutely nobody - including Little Miss - seems to know why. We've stopped asking questions and simply learned to appreciate the performance. Once Little Miss genuinely trusts you, the timid exterior starts melting away and a surprisingly affectionate, cheeky and even slightly flirty little cat appears underneath. She'll roll around showing off, stretch her paws towards you and eventually start giving you playful little bats when she's feeling particularly comfortable. She isn't a cat who hands this side of herself over to everyone she meets, which makes getting to know the real Little Miss feel all the more special. She also has a secret playful side, emphasis on secret . When Little Miss thinks nobody is watching, she's been caught cuddling up with a soft toy and occasionally having a little play with her spring toy. If she spots an audience, though, we can neither confirm nor deny these allegations. Most of the time she's perfectly content curled up somewhere cosy, warm and tucked away where she feels safe. Food isn't really the way to her heart either; she may occasionally accept a creamy treat, but trust and familiarity are much more valuable currency in Little Miss's world. Little Miss is looking for a calm, quiet home with someone experienced with shy or timid cats who understands that getting to know her will take time. Older children aged 10+ who can respect her space would be the best fit, and Little Miss has made it fairly clear that she would prefer to be the only pet in her new home. She may arrive as a reserved little cat who keeps herself tucked away, but give her time and you could eventually find yourself living with an affectionate, playful, slightly ridiculous girl who rolls around at your feet and occasionally throws a leg in the air for a bit of razzle dazzle !
