Meet Maverick, a gentle giant with a big heart and a soft spot for cuddles! He’s come a long way since arriving and is ready for a forever family who will cherish him and show him how much fun life can be. Calm and placid with medium energy levels, Maverick enjoys his walks, time with his humans and a good snooze. He can be nervous initially, but once he feels safe, you’ll discover an incredibly loving, loyal boy who’s a big smooch! Maverick is toilet trained, travels well in the car and knows his basic obedience. His lead manners depend on the day, so he’s looking for strong, confident handlers with experience owning his breed or other large dogs, who will continue his training and socialisation. He could live with another dog whose personality and play style match his own, following a successful meet and greet. Teenagers aged 15 and over would suit him best. He's more comfortable around females than males, although does have multiple male volunteers walk him. He just needs time to build trust first.
