About Snoo

Snoo is a charming lad looking for a loving forever home. He is a cuddly little fluffball with a gentle and affectionate nature. He is playful but also enjoys relaxing in the sofa or infront of the heater for a cuddle. Snoo gets along well with the other cat living in his foster home. I believe he would fit in well living with another cat, as long as there was a slow introduction. He would suit a home with (or without) children who know when he has had enough pats- he will let you know! He has never lived with a dog. Snoo had some dental work done while in foster, where the vet removed a few teeth. He has Feline Oral Resorbative Lesions (FORLS), which do not currently require further surgery, but this may change as he ages. Snoo requires daily grooming as he is terrible when he tries to do it himself! His hair is very thick and mats easily. He will also need his eyes cleaned each day. Snoo has early kidney disease, so will need to remain on a prescription Renal diet for the rest of his life. Snoo is very playful, enjoying wand toys and ping pong balls the most. He goes crazy for cat nip! He likes to sit up high, whether it be on his window perch watching the birds or sleeping on top of his foster mum. Snoo is a darling little cat, but very high maintenance. Potential adoptees will need to consider the financial aspect of his care, as he will require ongoing vet visits with sedation for blood tests. He will also need to be on a Renal diet for the rest of his life. Snoo may also require professional grooming if his hair gets out of control. Snoo has medical waivers for early kidney disease, FORLS, heart murmur and inappropriate toileting. Please have a read through these before registering interest. All that considered, he would be a wonderful addition to any home. He has been a fantastic companion to his foster mum and cat-sibling! Medical Notes Snoo has a heart murmur. The murmur has been assessed by Cat Haven veterinary staff as mild (grade three or less) and not likely to cause any adverse effects on their health. Snoo has had teeth removed because of Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions on the teeth. Snoo has a waiver for Inappropriate Toileting. During their time at Cat Haven, they have displayed some evidence of toileting inappropriately, such as toileting on their bedding or outside their litter tray. Their urine has been checked to rule out medical concerns, and it is likely that this behaviour is associated with stress and/or anxiety. It is possible that this behaviour will continue during the transition to your new home, and we cannot rule out that it may be an ongoing issue. Snoo has had blood tests or urine tests that indicate that they may be at risk of developing Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Snoo is located with his foster family in Glendalough.
